Electricity and Our Biofields

A few years ago, I was sitting in my bed listening to an activation from my friend and mentor who runs a group that approaches spirituality from a mystic and scientific POV. As she was speaking, a pair of dusty old earbuds (that no longer had a charger) connected to my laptop. It took me a minute to find them because I’d forgotten they existed. Needless to say, they had started charging on their own!

I sat with my eyes wide like what do I do with this? That’s not something that tends to happen. The same night, my laptop, which was closed, turned on and started playing a YouTube video called Earth and Us by Justin Paul Abraham. I was totally freaked out.

But it didn’t stop there. Oh no….

I had to start buying lightbulbs in bulk because when I’d flip the switch, the lightbulbs would short out. I thought maybe there was an electrical issue with the house, but we just built it. Whatever was going on became really annoying. None of this served any purpose other than to be an aggravation for me.

Was it my superhero origin story? Probably not. I mean, what would my super name be? The Convenient Woman? Charging dead devices one day at a time!

Sounds kind of lame.

Fast forward six months, I was on the verge of a panic attack in my husband’s truck and his phone and Bluetooth suddenly wouldn’t work or connect. I apologized and he narrowed his eyes at me and said, “For what?”

He was confused, but most normal people don’t apologize for things like that. I’ve come to realize, I’m not normal, at least not neurotypical.

Recently, I noticed an old watch we had tucked away in a drawer started ticking when I was near it. I’d run my hand over it, and it would stop, or I’d center my hand over it, and it would speed up. My mind thought back to all the times electronics (and apparently lightbulbs and watches) acted up around me and I found one common denominator.

I was dysregulated and my nervous system was out of alignment.

Biofields are a large field of energy surrounding every living organism, when they are out of balance, the energy becomes erratic. I wouldn’t be surprised if these things happened to a lot of people, they just don’t know how to recognize it for what it is.

So, when we look at this from the perspective of “everything is energy”, it actually doesn’t seem so weird. I remember doing a science experiment as kids where someone held a light bulb, and the rest of the class held hands. The very last person touched a battery, and the lightbulb at the other end lit up. It’s not much different than that except we are the batteries.

I fully believe humans are very powerful beings capable of doing great things, and I hope to encourage people to find their own greatness. It doesn’t necessarily mean the Avengers are going to appear, but what we carry does mean something.

FOR ALL OF US.

I keep the watch beside my bed now. When it starts ticking, I know I need to take some time to ground myself and meditate, bringing my energy back into harmony. Is there something more to it than a tool to know when I need to balance myself? I don’t know, but if I receive anymore revelation on this, I’ll let you know.
